The Initial Research In The Influence Of Regional Culture On Jinan's Landscape & Architecture

Along with the development of the times, people pay much more attention tothe environment issues than ever. Nowadays it's an important target for people tocreat a green, ecological and pleasant living conditions in urban construction.As a way of improving the urban environment, landscape architecture isrecognized ever more. How to create a garden including the regional culturecharacteristic and conforming to the international development tidal current is animportant issue in front of the garden staff.As a kind of carrier of culture, the garden shows different garden culture shape.Jinan is a culturally famous city with a long history to trace back. There had thetrace of humanity before 8 or 9 millenary when the early Neolithic Age. As a result,along with the times development, the factors of affecting Jinan culture is alsocomplex. According to the analysis of the culture affecting to Jinan and Jinangarden, there are five culture factors, such as the Longshan civilization, theReligious culture (Confucianist culture, the Buddhism culture), the Spring culture,the Celebrity culture, the Folkway culture and so on. Among the five factors, thefactors to affect Jinan garden deepest are Confucianist culture and Spring culture.When we analy these five main cultures to affect Jinan garden macroscopicplan(urban space planning and urban green space planning), the intermediateperspective (the garden construction) and microscopic project(five essential factorsof gardening, including plants, topography, warterbody, building and parergon,road and decoration). The reflection in Jinan garden mainly shows to persue nature,neat, harmony and plain. The garden construction relates by the springs, and formsthe unique city characteristic with mountains, springs, lake and city. This thesis provides the foundation and experience for Jinan garden construction in the future.
