This paper works mainly on the anti-highway collision system based on dynamic differential GPS (Global Positioning System) technology .In order to get relative distance and relative velocity between two moving carriers in the use of realtime data received and processed by two GPS dynamic receivers,the article researches mainly on the elementary thoery of the GPS, GPS data acquisition and processing using GPS dynamic receivers, the accuary improved model and algorithm about kalman filter ,also designed a distance-measure system by two seperate GPS dynamic receivers and showed the realized way of the whole system,and achieved a measured software of anti-highway collision system.This paper first describes the composition of the GPS, positioning model and the calculated principle of GPS . In the process of positioning data acquisition and processing, in order to achieve better realtime and compatibleness performance, the system reads data from receivers using the NMEA-0183 data format in contrast with the binary data format,calculat it to get the data needed for realtime distance including the coordinates and velocity of carriers . Second analyzes serial interfcae communication mechanism, the realized way and gives the design process of the progamme about real-time data acquisition using two serial interfaces. Introduces two kinds of coordinate in the process of calculating the distance between two carriers, and decudes the transform between the two coordinates. Realized realtime data receive and extract needed by realtime distance-measure system,after achieving the data output by the receivers, processes the data realtime, display and save it.in accordance with the agreement of output information, programms a programme of synchronization data receieve , achieves realtime differetial calculation of the relative distance based on synchronization data .By sampling realtime position data from receivers and analysis the errors from the data, estalishes a dynamic model about the strong moving carrier: by use of current statistical model,GPS dynamic positioning model, proposed a adaptive kalman filter algorithm suitable for strong moving model,thus gets a better stability and good anti-collision prediction accuracy in the case of strong moving environment.Finally, gives a detailed analysis and summary of the results got from the real experimental data from actual experiment, and conducted a review and future prospects.
