With the development of aeronautics & astronautics and modern science and technology, there are more and more navigation information sources. To enhance the navigation system's precision, reliability and real time becomes a topic with important research significance. Making the correct evaluation for the navigation system appears especially important, which is the significant basis and prerequisite for improving the navigation system performance.Firstly combining the work principle of integrated navigation system with the project actual situation, the article elaborated the structure composition of multi-sensor navigation system performance appraising system and the overall plan of information fusion, designed the kalman filter with stronger fault-tolerant ability. The paper brought forward the algorithm of the best fixed-interval optimal smoothing filtering based on kalman filtering, which could improve the information fusion result precision with increasing observation.The thesis made thorough research on each module of information fusion algotithm, which included mainly the primitive sensor data pretreatment algorithm, the sensor information fusion algorithm of the same type, the kalman filtering algorithm, the best fixed-interval optimal smoothing filtering algorithm, the air data treatment algorithm, the navigation system performance appraisal algorithm.This article has also carried out the multi- sensors performance appraisal system software realization research, and has put forward the system's concrete scheme and the realization flow. By testing with the simulated experiment data and actual flight test data, the multi-sensor performance appraisal algorithm has proved the accuracy and the validity, which has manifested the higher project practical value.Finally, to expand the function of the performance appraisal system,the paper carried out the research of SINS/GPS integrated navigation system aided by magnetic course. The study proposed a set of more perfect test plan of integrated navigation system performance. Testing result proved that the navigantion system performance achieved the better level, and the test plan was feasible, versatile.
