Linear flux characteristic control valve is used everywhere. Now linear fluxcharacteristic control valve we used in project is always linear motion valve. It'scomplex and requires a good actuator.This thesis design a multi-hole valve plate, and base on butterfly valve. Wedevelop the linear flux characteristic control butterfly Valve. Three-dimensionalnumerical simulation is performed on it. The RNG k-εturbulence model andSIMPLE scheme based on unstructured grid system were adopted in numericalsimulation. The relations between relative flow coefficient Kvs and relative valveopeningθwere obtained by simulating the model at the different opening angle.In experimental investigation, we specially designed a test-bed equipped withhigh sensitive sampled-data system, and also got the relations between relativecoefficient of flow Kvs and relative valve openingθ. We developed different caliberValve by using the principle of geometric similarity.In the thesis, we adopt model design, theory analysis, numerical simulation andexperimental investigation alternately in the process of study. We study the creativeusing of the valve. The numerical and experimental results show that: It's feasible todesign and optimize the control valve by three-dimensional CFD numericalsimulation. Moreover, the results of numerical simulation are coincident withexperimental investigation.The control butterfly valve developed in this thesis has a good linear fluxcharacteristic. It could be used in project.
