Application Of Dynamic Compaction On The Clay Ground Of Expressway

The consolidation mechanism of dynamic consolidation method(DCM) improving the clay ground and the new technologies now used to treat the saturated clay ground are firstly summarized in this paper. Secondly, a case history about the clay fill subgrade improvement project of Yu-Sui expressway is discussed. On the basis of the data of in-situ ground settlement and excess pore water pressure induced by dynamic compaction, and combined with the analysis of the effectiveness detection results, the method to decide the large-scale construction parameters by means of experimental district construction is mainly studied. Finally, the suggestion about the precaution measure of large-scale construction is proposed.The results of this research can give reference to the similar projects that will construct in the future.
