Nowadays, in the Waterscape of urban landscape, it is common to see borderline of water is reinforced by concrete uniform revetment, rarely seen the natural water that aquatic plants pose a wet light reeds, and lovely fish under the edge of the water close to the revetment. As a result, the city water system loss of integrity of the ecology and a integrated ecological function of the water.And wetland system is such a combination of waterscape and landscape of the ecological landscape belt, it is an important part of the city's ecological environment and the ecological support system. This article focuses on the establishment of urban river band wetland ecological design, on the basis of the principle of the surface marginal ecological design, combining ecological gardens and ecological engineering theory and technology, Application of the principles, methods of ecological revetment works and wetland vegetation creation. From the two aspects that the wetland ecological design and the ecological dispose of wetland vegetation to be discussed, Discussion on the construction of the waterscape in Xi'an city and the riverside green belt, the methods of ecological revetment and wet or aquatic community for the rehabilitation and reconstruction model。The conclusions of the study are as follows:1. The rebuilding of the ecological revetment: On the premise of function, give priority to use the ecological prototypical construction with biological material mainly , based on the actual situation, adopt such as simulated ecological prototype, integrated ecological prototype in different ways, so that water will be natural, ecological, Meanwhile that will enrich the streams of modern water landscape.2. The planting arrangement of ecological communities:According to the Xi'an status, use more native trees and reference local wetlands vegetation to construct the ecological communities with landscape and ecology merging into one organic whole, as close to natural as possible, and make compensation to the human environment which has been modified.The methods has some reference value for Xi'an city and even the Wei River's wetland garden building.
