Study On The Water Transfer Scheme Of The Urban Area Segment In Jinan City Of East Rounte Of South-to-North Water Transfer Project

The first segment of the main rounte project of Jiaodong water transfer—Jiping main channel project is now encountering an issue of how to run through the urban area in Jinan city after winding its way to merge into trunk river course of Xiaoqinghe from the outlet of Yufuhe siphon, which is extremely concerned by various circles of society. Because this scheme concerns not only the overall urban planning in Jinan city but also the overall safety of South-to-North water transfer project of east rounte , At the request of the Ministry of Water Resources and relevant departments , South-to-North water transfer project, overall arrangement of east rounte project, urban planning in Jinan city, synthetic harness plan of xiaoqinghe river, and peculiar geographical terrain environment in Jinan city the overall study on the water transfer scheme and factors affected is necessary to offer the departments in charge the important basis for decision making.In this study, taking into account the peculiar geographical terrain environment in Jinan and synthetic harness projects of xiaoqinghe river , five schemes are proposed, 1. making use of the current riverway of xiaoqinghe . 2. establishing a close channel on the left bank of xiaoqinghe. 3. building a pressure conduit on the left bank of xiaoqinghe. 4. constructing an open channel on the northen part of jinan city . 5. shield-driven tunnel. Employing the principles of equal depth, unanimous selection conditions , safe and economical and greater comprehensive benefit, the study is carried on in those respects of investment , water quality , urban planning , existing river harness , ecology and environment , enforceability , occupation of land , etc, to verify the advantages and disadvantages of each scheme.Study on the water transfer scheme of the urban area segment in Jinan city innovativly suggests water works be the resource project overall planning, It pays attention to human harmony and ecological project, analyses and studies comprehensively the respects of the project goal, ecological environments, urban planning , economizing the land resource, improving the land resource repeating utilization ratio , implementing , project investment rationality ,etc. Scheme study involves a wide range of relevant fields which affect another another, such as water works , environmental engineering , municipal water draining and pollution managing , traffic engineering , underground project, etc. This scheme combine water transfer project and every interrelated field , every speciality together organically. Through study and communication, helpful discussion and pertinence application have been done on the domestic and international new technology of underground space geotechnical engineering, shield-driven tunnel and technological innovation of water transfer project , etc.after studying, a close channel on the left bank of xiaoqinghe is recommended to the relevant decision making departments, this optimum scheme is technologically feasible and rationally economical that can solve contradiction between water transfer and pollution management , water transfer and synthetic harness of xiaoqinghe river, urban planning and urban area ecological environments .
