Prestressed pier is the large-scale arc gate commonlyused supporting structure.Using the prestressed technology, large-scale arc gate pier structure can bear bigger water thrust force function,which is advantageous to matches the muscle of pier and the arrangement of the discharge structure.Since from Gezhouba hydropower project,prestressed pier has been widely applied in water conservancy and hydropower project construction in China. Based on the systematic study and summaring massive prestressed pier structural design experience,this article combines Nuozhadu hydropower project,using large-scale general finite element analysis software ANSYS's spatial linear elastic finite element simulation technology in order to discussing the work behavior of the Nuozhadu new prestressed pier structure,also including rock,overflow weir,pier,new anchor blocks and elastic cushion,the overall model of the corresponding mechanical behavior analysis and safety evaluation,obtained the overall deformation and stress distribution of different load conditions and analyzed the stress distribution on the focus of prestressed anchor pier.Also,pier and anchor block connections neck,anchor block inner cavity and corbel sites,proposed the full design steps of new prestressed pier and the overall design of the need to focus on issues,achieved certain results which has some guidance and reference value for the desige of new prestressed pier.Another,based on our prestressed pier structure of the rafah anchor coefficient of predominantly older status,it is necessary to do sensitivity analysis and the correnponding safety evaluation for the choice of tainter gate supporting structure type and size,anchor layout and quantity,persistent tension cable tonnage,in order to improving the anchor surcharging results and reducing the cost of engineering.This article also carried on this aspect of the research work.
