With the rapid development of modern industry,mechanical seals are much concerned by people and have been one of important subjects today. The mechanism of fluid hydrodynamic mechanical seals with deep circular grooves is very complicated. To high duty mechanical seals used in pracitical field. The mechanical seals with deep circular grooves are fairly effective methods.The performance of fluid hydrodynamic mechanical seals with deep circular grooves is studied in this paper. The 3 dimension model of rotor ring,stationary ring and fluid field are built with Ansys software in order to built model under different working condition and different parameters. The structure deformation and temperature field of rotor ring stationary ring and fluid were calculated. The affection to the e ability of bearing weight,leakeage quantities and film thick were all analyzed through changing the working condition and parameters such as manipulate pressure,temperature,groove numbers and circular grooves radius.The experiment was carried out to study the influnce to the performance of seal ring in the way of changing hydraulic pressure. It was shown that the calculation results were in accordance with experimental results .
