The Modern City Pedestrian Mall Landscape Design Guideline Studies

The developing history in our country of pedestrian mall is for a long time, but the construction of urban pedestrian mall in the modern meaning that starts relatively late, and the design theory and practice of the landscape are still lag behind relatively. With the quickening of the urbanization process, the improvement of the social demand and the involvement of foreign advanced design theory, the circle of theory in our country begins to introduce and explore the view design theory of the modern urban pedestrianmall. But there are still some problems on the design guideline——the principal partof the production of the design theory, and are short of the systematization research and unclear to defined mixing up and content. All these have led to the designer feel fuzziness to the landscape process degree, and the pedestrian mall landscape designing is also a lot of shortages. In this condition, it can be provided with important academics values for carrying on the reach of the urban pedestrian mall landscape design, and also be provided with important realistic guidance to our reasonable construction and refitment.The thesis has adopted the research tactics "arriving at practice from theory" . First of all, we analyzed the basic theories of the pedestrian mall design, then we made specific research of the guide' establishing theory. According to these two basic theory, it has establish a basis and has provided the judgement for the guide' achievements. The thesis finally combs out the guide' achievement of the pedestrian mall landscape design systematically , and according to infers leads has carried on the experimental instruction to the Hefei new station commercial walk street landscape design project. We hope that it can give the reference and the enlightenment for later commercial pedestrian mall landscape design.
