Magnetic suspended rotor is a mechatronic integral product of multidisciplinary intersectional technique, which consists of mechanism, electromagnetic, control system and sensing transmitters. Accurate measurement of the process of high-speed magnetic suspended rotor rotation of power, torque and rotational speed and other parameters plays an important role in analysis of the properties of the magnetic suspended rotor and working conditions. It is essential to measure accurately parameters of magnetic suspended rotor such as power. Up to now, the research of testing the power of high-speed magnetic suspended rotor has not been found at home and abroad.The feature of high-speed magnetic suspended rotor is high speed, large power, and which is float while it's rotating. In this paper, according to the feature, it analyzes the reason why the existing testing equipment can not meet the demands of testing the power of high-speed magnetic suspended rotor, and introduces a new method that can be suitable for testing power of high-speed magnetic suspended rotor. The system of dynamometer is composed of magnetic suspended rotor, permanent magnet coupling, permanent magnet generator and energy load resistance. Magnetic coupling connects the measured magnetic suspended rotor with permanent magnet generator. And permanent magnet generator, as the load of the measured rotor, is used to absorb the output of mechanical energy, and translates it into electrical energy consumed by the load resistance. In the process of testing power of magnetic suspended rotor, the sensor detects the speed magnetic suspended rotor speed output; pulling-and pushing pressure sensor measures the force between dynamometer stator and base, and then indirectly the measures the output torque of magnetic suspended rotor.From the design of permanent magnet motors, magnetic coupling and electricity dynamometer, this paper introduces the design method of this high-speed dynamometer system. The purpose of designing magnetic coupling is to meet the characteristics of magnetic suspended rotor, such as high-speed, high power and torque. Magnet maximizes the energy efficiency, and increases the magnetic flux density, thereby increasing the transferring torque of permanent magnetic coupling. Permanent magnetic couplings uses push-pull structure, the magnet of internal and external rotor adopting close arrangement, the selection of the optimal number of pole, magnet thickness and air gap. In the process of designing High-speed permanent magnet motor, permanent magnet rotor design considers of electromagnetic and mechanical aspects; stator winding and core design and the need to effectively reduce the loss of heat and other major issues.Through the three different types of magnetic coupling structure of the internal magnetic field analysis, torque formulas and experimental validation and transmission performance analysis, and the magnetic coupling and high-speed permanent magnet generator design and analysis, this paper roundly introduce the principles of key technologies of testing power of high-speed magnetic suspended rotor , for the high-speed magnetic suspended rotor of theoretical study and practical application of relevant theory and guidance.
