The voltage-reactive and the higher subharmonic will be affect the electrical power system safe stable movement the important attribute, the harmonic cause the voltage waveform distortion, will cause the electrical energy drop in quality, also posed the very big threat to the capacitor security. And the substation realizes the main place which the reactive power disperser control and compensates, therefore, conducts the synthetic study to the substation voltage-reactive control and the harmonic restraint have the vital significance.This paper elaborated the voltage-reactive control and harmonic restraint technical present situation, determined the capacitor banks capacity choice and serially connects reactor disposition plan, conducted the control strategy research, designed a kind of voltage-reactive control and harmonic restraint integrated control system, take the ChuCun 110kV substation in CanZhou city as the experiment site, has carried on the installment, the debugging and the movement experiment. The result mark, this system safety is reliable, effectively improved the substation electrical energy quality.
