This paper creates the QR method for cable-stayed bridge structureanalysis by the concrete theory of QR method and the practice ofcable-stayed bridge structure, based on the QR method which is presented byQin Rong professor.The key annulus of QR method is building the calculation model of thestructure.In view of the cable-stayed bridge's structure style characteristic and itsboundary condition, the paper chooses the displacement function which isproper to analogue cable-stayed bridge's structure deforming model. Thisdisplacement function includes the spline primary function and the modefunction of the beam which is fixed at one end while is free at the other end.This paper discusses how to choose the spline primary function in detail,and displays many main beam's spline primary function in commonboundary condition.The paper disposes cable-stayed bridge's boundary condition bymultiplying googol combining with QR method, drawing lessons from the disposing boundary condition method in finite element method.First, this paper introduces elastic beam analysis's QR method, we canresearch QR method compared with RIZE-method, by which we canunderstand QR method deeply and make the preparation for describing forcable-stayed bridge structure analysis.I program the elastic beam and the cable-stayed bridge structure byFORTRAN language. This program analysis some calculation examples forfloatation system that often used in large span bridge structure. It isapproved that the computing speed, computing precision and theconvergence property of QR method have better characteristic by comparingwith the finite element software's result.The main new innovation point of this paper is(1)Building the newcalculation format of cable-stayed bridge statical analysis by QR method.(2)Making the calculation program by FORTRAN 95 and calculating someexamples. The calculation result has little difference between by QRmethod and by ANSYS, the finite element program. (3) Getting somefavorable conclusion after the outcome analysis.
