Train is more important in national economy and people living in this times. The research in safety of train transport becomes pressing. This paper focus on the problem of the sampling and process on train track signal which is very important in the automation of train track.There are two kinds of train track signal in china now. They are eighteen signal frequency-shift and UM71. All of them are frequency-shift-key (FSK) signal. The difference between them are in the carrier frequency and low modulation signal. This paper design a device to test the signal and design the algorithm to process the signal which is used for a new instrument on train monitoring and control. At first, this paper introduce the knowledge about train track signal. And then this paper designs the hardware which used for the sampling and process of the signal. The main process unit use the TMS320VC5416 of TI. EMP7128 of Altera is used as logic control unit. The communication with the upper computer use CAN bus . The CAN controller use SJA1000 of Philips.Base on analysis of the signal, a algorithm is designed. In the algorithm, we counting the number of signal in a cycle to determine the t carrier frequency. To the low modulation signal, we use the technology of digital filter, ZFFT and under-rate sample to detect it .In this paper ,we use MATLAB to simulate the signal and the processing of the signal. At last, we use CCS of TI to design and test the soft and algorithm.This device and algorithm is successful by experiment.
