Indispensable Part Of Public Space

As the growth of age, I feel it is a very common affair that a person leaves from natural world. However, it is unaccepted and absurd to that man's kin. It really makes the man involve in the natural world.Under the thought of ghosts and gods and traditional culture of funeral and interment, most people avoid designing cemetery, so there will be a blank in cemetery design theory. As we all know the reason, I won't take mach time to expatiate it. Trough this thesis I just try to find a kind of idea the core task of artistic projector is to convert ugly and nasty things into perfect and nice things. The art needs sentiment which is more important to the artists. Nevertheless, the rational thought can not be intermixed with sensibility. It is showed by the decoration and functions of cemetery. Our education system of design has innate defect and postnatal vice. We've lost the direction many times on learning foreign designing style meanwhile the system of our national artistic style is not fulfilled. Through the unbroken designing task with persistent national character, we can discover an idea and pattern to find specific characters in the public, and let national obscure point and worldwide opening point combine with each other. Cemetery is a kind of space which is the most suitable conception for public space, we try to change the horrible opining which impressed people, overlooking the influenced factors which are out of the cemetery functions. Otherwise we try to add more functions to cemetery, and to find the demonstration of subject through and through. It makes the cemetery includes more culture meaning. Today, under the collision of western and eastern opining and the up growth of communicative technology and information technology, we advocate an idea, maybe it is a kind of criticism or a kind of yearn for traditional communicative pattern of sensation. If we put this idea on the stage of guiding idea, we need to find and settle several problems of our own life. It is a kind of thought of collision of eastern and western cultural. Today, we enter the 21st century, traditional and modern features interweave together, we should accelerate the process in scientism of municipals and relative environment. The completeness degree and rationalization degree are the main points on the design and construction of our cities. As the continuous development, under the running impact of commercial culture, more and more parts of the city is shown obviously. It is covered by the culture of modern city. The gap between people and historical culture is become wider. People aspire to improve the image of environment, meanwhile to create new functions, psychological character, and historical and regional culture which the city environment includes. All of these needs are suitable for modern life.Human society and history are visualized in cities'cemeteries. The are the record of human culture. The creation is in the midst of imitation. The freedom is ruled under the scale. On one side, Chinese traditional art has a long history which seems to live in the past. On the other side, we are bearing the burden of requirement for continuous innovation when we are digging the things which are never done by our forefather. We forget to study our past so that humdrum and flimsy art can be prevalent pro tempore. The history will be lost in the future. I just wish through the reading of this thesis those blundering person will be cool down to be self-questioning.
