Charging by weight is an expanding policy of expressway toll in our country, and is an effective measure to deal with the problem of vehicle overloads. Dynamic weighing systems of road vehicles are key technical equipments for charging by weight. The accuracy and stability of the systems are the prerequisites for the whole system to work well. According to the nation's corresponding law, the weighing systems must be regularly verified.In this paper, a new stationary verification scheme of dynamic weighing systems was proposed, in which the verification device, boarding on a vehicle, works on the principle of overlapping force standard machine, and produces the standard force by hydraulic loading. In order to meet the requirements of stationary verification of dynamic weighing systems, a new type hydraulic loading force standard machine was designed which consists of PLC, high-accurate force sensors and servo DC forming a closed-loop control system.Furthermore, a new hydraulic loading verification device of dynamic weighing system was developed based on the specifically designs of the hydraulic loading unit and PLC control system. Application shows that the verification device, compared with the current verification by piling up weights, can tremendously improve the efficiency of verification and reduce the load of labors.The results of the paper find a new way for the verification of dynamic weighing system of road vehicles.
