With the development of the society and the economy, cement-soil mixing pile is one of the most important form of the foundation, also many productions have been acquired. Therefore, since the field prototype test of cement-soil mixing pile foundation is not been processed easily, the study of the behaviors of cement-soil mixing pile often makes use of the model test in the laboratory. And it is difficult for the latter to accurately simulate the practical status, so the result is not very perfectly.At first, previous methods to study performance of cement-soil mixing pile under loads are reviewed and present research development in and out of China is discussed in detail in this paper. According to the study and summarization of the theory of finite element, Finite Element Method is been used to simulate the performance of pile groups. Based on the above work, ANSYS FEM program is used. Three-dimensional solid modeling method is introduced in this paper for good result, and the geometrical size of the model is consistent to the true value. On pile-soil interface, mechanics properties of contact surface are simulated by contacte-lements, and soil nonlinearity is simulated by DP elastic-plastic model provided by ANSYS FEM program. Calculation convergence is gained with choosing the parameter and checking computations.The purpose of the research in this paper is to analyze the behaviors of pile groups by numerical simulation method based on the finite element theory and achieve the relation between pile number, size of pile-cap with cement-soil mixing pile effect, and analyze the state in loads of single pile which in different location and the distribution of lateral friction of piles. The results will be helpful for developing and improving design for safer and more economical.
