Study On The Optimization Of Regional Traffic Organization

The traffic jams and congestion of the urban traffic is a problem which the each country must face to. With the development of China's economy and the accelerating process of urbanization, The problem of traffic jam is becoming day by day serious in many big cities in our country. To resolve the traffic problem need consider two aspects:traffic provision and demand. In certain region of road network, building or rebuilding road is not feasible,so adopting right traffic organization method must becomes important measure to resolve traffic jam problem.Firstly, the paper introduces the knowledge about transportation organization;Secondly, microscopic transportation organization methods are analyzed,which include the method of allowing to pass at street intersection,channelization and signal controlling;Then, regional traffic organization measures are summarized,which include banning-left traffic,one-way traffic and regional traffic signal organization; At last, evaluation indexes and method of regional traffic organization are determined, and the network model of the optimization of regional traffic organization is established.
