| Masonry structure is one of the earliest constructions of the building structure which has made tremendous contributions for human living for a long time in China. Clay brick has been absolutely the dominating position among the masonry material. But in the production process, Clay brick not only do harm to our land, the environment, but also cause huge waste. Therefore, the state decided to implement a wall reform, and gradually use the new wall materials to replace the traditional masonry materials.Autoclaved flyash-lime brick use fly ash, lime as the main raw material, adding an appropriate amount of gypsum and aggregates, then water and mixture them, hydraulic mechanism into throwing, then autoclaved made of solid brick or cell brick, this production is a new kind of wall materials which is made by using improved technology. To promote its use, the state decided to develop a unified national"autoclaved flyash-lime brick structure technical specifications". Before the establishment of this standard, because masonry tensile and shear strength are very low which means poor seismic performance, teat on the flyash-lime brick seismic behavior of the inspection is particularly important. It has a direct impact on such masonry materials in the earthquake zone with the use of the promotion. Based on the five pieces of flyash-lime solid brick walls of the low level of cyclic loading test, flyash-lime brick in the earthquake affected by the destruction of properties and characteristics were studied and a lot of valuable lessons were accumulated ,which would be useful for the promotion of flyash-lime solid brick using .The paper is broadly divided into the following four sections :(1) Introduction. In this part, the characteristics and development of the brick structure are simply introduced. the flyash-lime brick walls test against seismic and the relevance of the general tests are also included.(2) Test Overview. We tried different conditions to test the seismic performance of autoclaved flyash-lime brick wall, including working out the whole plan, the test content, the progress of the test, the component failure modes, and other relevant things.(3) Analysis of the results. With the help of wall destructive patterns, resistance strain gauge, dial indicator, displacement meter and the top's load-displacement curve ,we analyze the various performance of the walls during horizontal earthquake. Test shows: autoclaved flyash-lime brick walls have high shear strength, good ductility and energy dissipation capacity which suitable for the low - to promote the use of the earthquake zone.(4) Wall seismic shear strength calculation. In this part, we compare the two classic shear strength theories with the test. We use the two formulas for calculating capacity respectively to see whether they can answer the test results. The results show: the measured test capacity than the two calculated values. Lane used the standard formula of autoclaved flyash-lime brick masonry seismic design is safe. |
