Chain-driven is one of basic driving forms that are quite widely applicated in various machine,Which has been applied in various field of national economy.Fundamental status of chain production at present is summarized in this article.It is found that Chain-driven technology is greatly developed in both producing chain and development of new production,there are still such shortcoming as complex structure and high-cost,especially it is unable to carry out spatial driving in chain-driven yet.Therefor,Professor Liang Xichang has invented Pearl Actuating Machanism that is a new type of drive gear.It actualize constant proportion driving between capstan shaft and driven shaft that are distance and interspace,whose extraction fills up blankness of constant proportion driving between spatial shaft and has signality.Rationality of Pearl Actuating Machanism is testified in theory in the paper: Pearl Actuating Machanism mostly includes pearl strip,action wheel,driven wheel and angle pulley,first their operating principle are illuminated in the paper,at the same time their primary measurement and coherent data are calculated in theory,moreover,accuracy and integrality of the calculating method is illuminated by frondose instance numeration.Every accessory of Pearl Actuating Machanism that will be assembled a tridimensional full-scale mock-up in the end will be found by using UG software according to trim size calculated.Second the paper introduces the method and theory choosing stuff,armoured rope,electromotor and speed method by which homologous them have been choosed simultaneity in view of cost,processing technic,assemblage and experiment etc.Finally the paper accounts for connection among mostly parts of Pearl Actuating Machanism:ratio of transmission equal to inverse ratio of pitch diameter,ubiety between drive and driven shaft and guide wheel shaft,and optimum design of common pearl and joint pearl assemblage are analysed,at the same time Pearl Actuating Machanism is detailed compared with conventional actuating mechanism,moreover,such typical parts as capstan and common pearl are carried out finite element analysis whose result indicates that design of the mechanism is rational.After certification in theory the paper taked capstan as an example to explicate its course of working and program NC programming of key process.All of parts have been processed later Pearl Actuating Machanism is triumphantly assembled once in terms of general assembly drawing and able to normal work. Pearl Actuating Machanism is testified to feasibility in practice.At last,noise experiment is made at action wheel, angle pulley and driven wheel whose result indicates that noise pressure level measure up to standard, however,we optimize design of angle pulley sleeve structure in order to make noise lower according to the principle that noise is lower and better.The paper primarily makes use of positivism method,which indicates that the design of Pearl Actuating Machanism is feasibility by continuously working of its experimental facility.
