Development Of The Instrument Simulation System Of Chongqing Monorail Simulation Cab

In this paper, we describe the purpose and significance about the development of Chongqing monorail simulation cab system. We introduce the work we have done to finish the project. In the first period, we have made detailed planning. By probing at the scene , analysising and screening data, designing the software and hardware and so on, the equipment have achieved anticipate effect and have received some economic benefit.In china, Chongqing lightrail is the first one to introduce the straddle type monorail system, which have reached advanced world standard. At present, we don't have the equipment adapt to this type of train in China. The purpose of this study is to fill up the vacancy in this aspect and speed up the efficiency of drivers training program. The instrument simulation system of monorail cab introduced in this paper is a subsystem of simulation cab. The subsystem includes the driver's manipulation platform and the module of driver interface .The system simulates monorail cab adopt the method of Hardware in loop simulation and designs part of apparatus at the same time.The system uses PLC as control unit and communicates with the interface computer use serial communication. It can communication with other system through Interface computer and TCP/IP as bridge. The WinSock communicate model is based on Windows NT and is self-defined. It can communicate with other module in the system. The system can emulate train's running by changing the position of tractor/brake handle on console, controlling the display on platform. Image on the screen can change automatic with the platform at the same time. it is easy to operate and the scene dimension is strong.The software of interface computer is developed based on Windows 2000. By using VC6.0 as develop tool, it adopt visible technique,clear interface and simple to operate. The software can be classified as follow:The compute of train's running,compute of control unit,network communication,instrument display and so on .It has achieved the user's demand after improve on and perfect.
