The Research On Exhaust Emission Test Methods For Chinese In-use Vehicles

In order to protect environment, improve air quality of Chinese cities, and reduce the exhaust emission from the in-use vehicle, in the thesis, the test methods of in-use vehicles are introduced, the necessity to control the exhaust emission of in-use vehicles is pointed out. Based on the investment of vehicle ownership and type of typical cities, analyze the status of the cities'vehicles.For different test methods, a lot of tests have been taken on real vehicles. Based on the results of the tests, the correlativity of IM195 and ECE15 has been studied. Also study and analyze the results of different tests methods in this paper, such as ECE15, ASM, VMAS,IM195 and two speed idle. And also compare the limits of BEIJING, SHANGHAI local standards and national standard, the conclusion and advice have been given.In order to control exhaust emission from in-use vehicles, the criterion for in-use vehicles exhaust emission measurement quanlity has been given. Also the criterion for test organization mangment and the criterion for test quality control have been given, In this part, a lot of requirement about how to establish the management quanlity and test quality control criterions of the test laboratories have been set up. I hope this paper will be helpful to control vehicle exhaust emission control in our country.
