Wind turbine generator system is a core component which converts wind energy into electrical energy. The drive system which connects blades and generator takes on the important mechanical loads. As the basic load form of various mechanical shafts, the torque is the vital indicator for rotating machinery output power, it decides the performance and life of the drive system. So , there are very important theory sense and utility value for study of torque measurement system of wind turbine generator system..The paper designs a torque measurement system of shafts according to the characteristics of wind turbine generator system. The measurement system carries out the data acquisition function of the low shaft torque , the high shaft torque and the generator rotational speed ;at the same time ,it also accomplish the data analysis function of time domain and frequency domain . In the time domain, analysis of amplitude, waveform, auto-correlation, and cross-correlation can be performed. And in the frequency domain, analysis of amplitude spectrum, phase spectrum and power spectrum can be performed.The torque measurement system can analyse changes of torque of the drive system at the wind turbine generator system cut-in and cut-off the electrical network. The torque measurement involves multidisciplinary subjects, and it is a profound theory basis. On the other hand ,by the data acquisition and data analysis of 750kW wind turbine generator system, testify the accuracy and efficiency of the measurement system..
