Research And Implementation Of PPPOE Module In PLC Band Management System And Development Of API Supporting H.264 Codec

As a new access mode, power line communication has become popular with more and more users in the light of its convenient access mode and low price. Along with the increase of users, band management in the system of power line communication becomes essential gradually. The first part of this thesis is focused on a general introduction on the technology of power line communication, including network architecture and related communication protocols of power line communication online, and so on. Then the author explains in detail the design of band management system which is suitable for power line network; and also R&D task on design and realization of the PPPOE module under this system. The testing result of functional module completed meets the expected demands of the project.H.264 encode standard has received wide attention from the field of bitstream and wireless communication for its excellent compress efficiency and network adaptability. The second part of this thesis gives a brief introduction on the development history of several international standards of video encode and the structure and feature of H.264 codec. Then it expounds the R&D task on multimedia player system and explains in detail about the design, realization and testing process of API under this system which supports H.264 codec and complies with OpenMAX Integration Layer specification. The testing result shows that the designed and realized API meets the expected demand.The whole thesis is divided into two parts, nine sections in total. The first chapter introduces the development of the technologies related and the research work the author has completed in the project. The first part is from chapter 2 to chapter 5, which presents the analysis and realization of PPPOE module of the band management system of power line access. The second part is from chapter 6 to chapter 9, which explains the design and realization of API that supports H.264 codec.
