Energy sources are the base of humen being existence and development. Solar energy is one of the important renewable sources. It has immense market foreground. In this paper, solar heat utilization's developments are summerizede. To kinds of collectors, especially to air collector and solar wall's are investgated. Based on the former investigations, a flat solar air heater with honeycomb is studied and designed, which can be used in witer heating. And theory and experiment study of heating to building are investigated using the collector. It concludes contents underneath:1. The collectors with different transparent honeycomb are compared experiments of close solarization and parallel connection open air circulation. And we compare tests of close solarization open air circulation of the collectors with or without transparent honeycomb. As a result, the collector with the honeycomb which size is 50 X 50 X 25 is the best. Also the collectors' efficiency of parallel connection air circulation is calculated. Andbased on the tests, all parts of the collector are designed and selected.2. Transparent honeycomb's transmittace is one of the important parameters to itsperformance. In the paper, using simple method which is brought out by Hollands, a two dimension model to calculate transmittance using the geometry principle. Under the simple way, the whole transmittace of cell can simplify a rectangle body's transmittance which is made of the above and bottom and opacity wall. The formula of the calculation transparent honeycomb is educed.3. Using the software of FLUENT, numerical simulation study is carried out to different honeycombs. Considering the radiant heat, results indicate that natural convection isn't restrain completely when the cross section of cell is 25 X 25mm and aspect ratio is 12 or less. When the cross section is 10×10mm and aspect ratio is 4 or more, the heat loss from the cell is less 100W/m~2, heat insulation is better.4. The solar wall air collector is investigated in experiment and theory. The results indicate that, the simple collector's efficiency is lower than 50% when it depends on natural flow, while the efficiency is about 60% when the collector is vertical placed with ventilating device. From the experiments of applying two or three collectors with ventilating device to the solar house, it is feasible to use in the schools or factories' heating where have enough sunlight. In order to know the air flow field and temperature distributing, numerical simulation is carried out. From the result, the flow field and the temperature distributing are not homogeneous.
