Study Dynamic Response Of Structure And Foundation Interaction

Problems of Structure and foundation dynamic interaction have attractedgreat attention on engineering in recent decades. With the construction projectsecure request unceasing enhancement and the earthquake resistance disasterprevention project urgent need, problem of Structure and foundation dynamicinteraction has become one of the hot topics in structural engineering research.Firstly, this paper briefly introduces the background, domestic and foreignresearch profiles, research methods and significance of the structure andfoundation interaction; Secondly, on the basis of the finite element systemmotion balance equation which established by Hamilton's principle, used thedirect method to deduce the structure and foundation interaction system motionequations under the seismic action; Thirdly, the infinite element theory isintroduced when simulate the problem of the infinite foundation, near field issimulated by finite element, Far field is simulated by infinite element, use finiteand infinite element model to analyze the displacement response of Structureand foundation dynamic interaction; Fourthly, the dynamic response of a shearwall for a 15-storey shear-frame structure under the seismic action is calculatedwith ANSYS and the program which has been developed in FORTRAN basedon the theory of finite element and an infinite element.Finally, carries on the analysis to the results and draws some conclusions.The results have been proved Authenticity and Accuracy by analyzing examples by the program which has been developed in FORTRAN based on the theory offinite element and infinite element. The conclusions provide some basesmutually for the establishment of Structure and foundation interaction systemmodel. Meanwhile, the conclusions also provide reference for earthquakeresistance analysis and further research of Structure and foundation interactionsystem model.
