Industry machinery is used in manufacture of goods or provision of technical service. The color of traditional industry machinery was monotonous, dull and lack of human design, which affected products' aesthetic quality and user's mood badly and also hinder the development of the company's brand image. Color as one of the lowest cost design factors, making use of it properly can contribute to make up the shortage of shape design, as well as enhance the aesthetics and quality of the industry machinery, color can contribute to improve the humanity of human machine interaction and provide a safety, comfort environment for manipulators, then increase the productivity and reduce the ration of accident, color can contribute to promote the company brand image and strengthen the market competition ability.To begin with, this paper studied the color's engineering function such as structure, ergonomics and esthetics. Color played an important role in reforming the shape of industry machinery and improving the harmony of person-machine-environment. Secondly, this paper objectively analyzed the industry machinery color on the basis of semantic color and determined them belong to which quadrant in the color image coordinate system, then transferred variety of color sensible data into rational data which would provide a reasonable method for the color designer.Chapter three and four are the key of this paper, which analyzed the characteristic of industry machinery from the angle of the user and summed up the effect of color design for industry machinery base on the feature of products' function, structure, human machine interaction, enterprise image, using environment and marketing. Then from the aspect of color's scientific naming system, color tolerance, principle of match colors and pigmentation technology expounded how to turn sensible color into quantitative and rational color, and become the actual products' color by using modern technology. The ultimate goal is to use the results to actual production and design work. The successful case of textile machinery color of Pacific Mechatronic (Group) Co., LTO proved that systematic study of industry machinery color had important significance.Finally, this paper built the multi-level fuzzy comprehensive evaluation system applied to color schemes of product color design, and quantitatively analyzed the color scheme of the textile machinery based on this evaluation system. In order to get results rapidly and accurately, this paper uses Matlab to write a program and enable the evaluation to run on the computer, Based on the evaluation result the optimum scheme which was suitable for the functional properties of textile machinery and ideas and cultural spirit of enterprise was confirmed.
