| CAD and CAM technology is an important part of advanced manufacture technology. This paper studies CAD and CAM of torpedo shell on the basis of background of torpedo shell design and machine. Torpedo shell outline curve is complex non-circle curve,and its three dimensions model and numerical control machining is very complex.About torpedo outline curve,taking MK46 torpedo of USA for example,this paper studies function subsection, joint and oscillation problem according to the least-squares principle on the basis of Weirstrass theory ,and rebuilds the subsection polynomial function model of the whole MK46 torpedo outline curve which error is very small. It can meet the precise description of its linetype and needs of general numerical control machine.The paper introduces customer macroinstruction detailed. In terms of the new mathematical model,it makes the program of NC lathe in the way of equal distance line interpolation, using macro instruction , operational instruction and circulational instruction according to the rules of FANUC 0-T system. By the adjustment and running,it is proved to be right and produced qualified products on the numerical control horizontal lathe(CK6180/3000).The paper studies a new way of precise making model about complex torpedo turning shell which is based on the combination with Solid Edge,Matlab and Excel soft. It can make a very precise three dimensions model very quickly. It studies torpedo shell numerical control machining simulation using Mastercam X software,and simulates tool track,shell's contour line and gives postprocessing automatical program of NC.Finally,the paper discusses NC network communicational problem about RS232C interface,and introduces some means of DNC's designing, parameter setting of data communication, connecting of communicational cable and receiving of part's program, etc.The research results in this paper will help CAD/CAE/CAM and flexible technology application in torpedo field for saving funds,increasing quality of products,shorten period and quicken type manufacturing .It can also provides reference for other similar fields. |
