Permanent Magnetic DC Motor CAD System

Permanent Magnetic DC Motor (PMDCM) maintains good speed adjustment characteristics and mechanical characteristics of traditional DC Motor. Furthermore, this motor has the characteristics of simple structure, small size, less copper consumption, high productivity and so on because this kind of motor has no magnet exciting winding and magnet exciting loss. For all these merits, PMDCM is widely applied to the home appliance, portable electric equipment, electrical tools and specious speed and position drive system. This paper studies the design of PMDCM and introduced the development of PMDCM CAD system.This paper summary the development of motor CAD of our country and abroad, studies the design method and characteristic of PMDCM in depth and work out the computer programmer which is suitable for the computer calculation. This paper introduces the development environment, structure and function of the CAD system and the programming process. This CAD system is programmed based on the objective oriented VISUAL C++ and project database and is operated under the WINDOWS system. This CAD system shows friendly interface, convenient operation and high precision and proves that it can be easily used by the motor design staffs.This paper shows the design value and experiment value of a sample PMDCM and the result proves that this CAD software can be applied to ferrite magnet and rare earth permanent magnet and is of certain application to manufacturing enterprises.
