With the increasing demands for product reliability, especially for aviation and spaceflight, the development of shaking test system becomes more and more important. Shaking table can provide typical shaking condition or simulate and reappearance circumstance, which is used as normal test machine for inspection and value of mechanical performance for all sorts of engineering equipment. Shaking table has very important station for the country economy and reflects the industrial development level in a sense. Countries of all over the world take much count of the research and development for constructer test technology and test system.Electro-hydraulic shaking table has huge acting force and can work at either low frequency and long travel or high frequency and short travel. By using the computer, electro-hydraulic shaking table can change the test wave shape at will as to realize the automatization control. According, it has overwhelming advantage for wonderful quality and price ratio. In order to improve the control capability of electro-hydraulic shaking table, so much efforts have been made. This paper introduces research in improvement of the control capability by design of an electro-hydraulic shaking table.The research content to be shown in the paper include: Based on the characteristic of electro-hydraulic servo control system and design demand, an electro-hydraulic shaking table is designed to test of metal fatigue. The theory for system design and means and steps are introduced. From the static design to the choice for the components and confirmation for the parameter, the principle and strategies are illustrated. Building on the mathematics model of electro-hydraulic shaking table and analyzing the characteristics, some conclusions have been drawn about computer control. MATLAB is made full use of to simulate and optimize in order to enhance the control capability.Combining the method of theory and test, the paper analyzes the design of the electro-hydraulic shaking table and outspreads the research for its control capability. Some view and proposition are brought forward, which provide theory basic and practice experience for even more complicated electro-hydraulic shaking table.
