The structure and the aerodynamics performance of gas turbine air-inlet volute have a important effect on gas turbine . It requires less pressure lest gas turbine become lower capacity and higher specific fule consumption. At the same time, it requires lest airflow aberration and more even airflow from volure , so that the gas turbine can work well. In order to offer reliable basis to design and manufacture high performance air-inlet volute, in this article a few air-inlet volute models of gas turbine are designed and some numerical simulations are carried on according to the requirements mentioned above.In this article a few control equation of the flow fields have been established and the volute of different dimension have been calculated by the means of numerical simulation. According to the characteristics of the flow fields, unreasonable structures have been improved to obtain the air-inlet volute with the better performance.Four series which include twelve different scheme of air-inlet volute are designed according to different originate point of outside and inside which formed vary figure of radical surface and wall of volute. The series 1 is originate point of inside from max X and outside from (0,0). The series 2 is originate point of inside from max Y and outside from (0,0). The series 3 is originate point of inside from max X and outside from second point. The series 4 is originate point of inside from max Y and outside from second point. From the twelve simulation results it can be seen that Wisher curve in the series 3 is more even than other eleven scheme. We predigest the wall of the volute into a line , in order to make it convenient for manufacturing processes, gas flow more evenly in the outlet. More over we discuss the intersect of two volute. Finally, I find that the scheme of r=80 can give attention to different performance of both single and double gas turbine operated.Based on the Favre-averaged N - S equations and the non-structural grid and k -εturbulent flow model, CFD analysis of three-dimensional flow through air-inlet volute is presented in the paper. According to the result of flow analysis, optimum design for air-inlet volute is carried out. Through an analysis of pressure loss and flow field status a performance evaluation was given of the air-inlet volutes. By the numerical simulation of the flow field, a gas turbine air-inlet volute with better aerodynamics performance is found. Compared with the other air-inlet volute, its pressure loss is smaller than that of the other air-inlet volute and the velocity of the air-inlet volute outlet is more even than that of the other air-inlet volute.
