The nanocrystalline TiO2 porous thin film electrodes of the dye-sensitized solar cells(DSSCs)have high surface roughness and surface area so that it can adsorb a large number of sensitizer and improve the overall light-to-electricity efficiencies of the DSSCs, which make the wide application of the dye-sensitized solar cells available. The technics of the preparation of nanocrystalline TiO2 electrode mainly include three means:doctor-blade, screen-printing, eletrophoresis and so on, especially screen-printing is very popular used in industry .And how to prepare nanocrystalline TiO2 electrodes by screen-printing technique and make the DSSCs based on them exihibit high efficiencies is very important in the research of dye-sensitized solar cells. According to this, we have prepared the pastes of TiO2 by different stuff of TiO2,And we have researched and optimized the chemical composition of the pastes and preparation technics of TiO2 electrode by screen-printing. We also studied the peoperties of cells by different kinds of electrolyte.1.We confirmed the optimal quantity of different chemical composition of the paste of TiO2 in which the main stuff is P25 TiO2. Nanocrystalline TiO2 thin film electrodes were prepared using screen-printing technique by optimizing the processing parameters. The properties of the nanocrystalline TiO2 electrodes were studied.2. We confirmed the optimal quantity of chemical composition of optimized paste of TiO2, by which we have prepared the TiO2 electrodes based screen-printing technique. The overall light-to-electricity efficiency of the cell was 6.70 % under the illumination of 100 mW/cm2.3.A novel type of nanocrystalline TiO2 electrodes based screen-printing technique were designed and prepared on the glass substrates used method of pyrolysis. The DSSCs based on these electrodes exhibited high efficiencies by optimizing the processing parameters.4.We researched the properties of cells prepared different pastes of TiO2 by liquid electrolyte and inonic liquid electrolyte.
