Analysis of coupled seepage and temperature fields in rock mass is one of the issues of rock mass hydraulics. The current research of coupled temperature and seepage fields in fractured rock mass is summarized systemically. A clear comparison is given about the features and application for three kinds of models in fractured rock mass and the achievements on fracture network non-continuum. The research of coupled seepage and temperature fields in fractured rock mass is analysised, and their application is introduced.It is pointed out that the analysis of coupled seepage and temperature fields in fracture network non-continuum is an emergency task in recent years. For the analysis of coupled seepage and temperature fields in discrete factured network of rock mass, the main research contents are:(1) The present research results has been summarized and analyzed, the non-continuum model in fractured rock mass has been developed to be used for the sparsed rock mass.(2)The study on fracture network generation of rock mass and the seepage in fracture network have been carried out. The Monte-Carlo method is used to simulate the fracture network of rock mass, and the seepage program for discrete fracture network is applied for seepage analysis.(3) The temperature field of the fracture network discontinuum is analyzed. The controlling equation, variational equation and discretized equation have been established in fracture flow temperature and rock block temperature fields which are based on the fracture network discontinuum. The initial and boundary conditions are analyzed. The interaction between fracture flow and rock block on the coupled boundary, the coupled calculating steps and programm have been proposed .(4) The analysis of steady temperature field in rock mass under single fissure flow, theotetical analysis of steady temperature field in single fissure flow and water-rock heat transfer machanism for non-continuum in fractuerd rock mass are carried out, and the numerical simulation is performed for the two-dimensional steady temperature field of fractured rock mass with FEPG software.(5) The basic assumption is proposed for coupled seepage and temperature fields in discrete fracture network of rock mass, the mathematical model of coupled two fields is established. The discrete fracture network method is applied to the numerical calculation of the seepage field, and the finite element method is used to solve the temperature field. The calculating steps and programming of coupled analysis are brought forward.(6) A numerical example is given to illustrate the analysis the seepage field, the temperature field and the coupled seepage and temperature fields in the fracture network.
