| With the progress of human civilization and frequently exchange of different culture, the distance between different people and countries has been reduced. It also caused the whole world changed to be stereotyped by different district losing its characteristic gradually. However, so long as there exist different countries and nationalities, difference on condition of natural and form of culture, there should exist different national characteristic and different regional characteristic. Reflection on architecture is difference on national style.In recent years, a kind of regional architecture whose characteristic is respecting on regional humanities environment has been paid attention wildly in china. In Xi'an, there are some buildings, which had won many national praises, and also obtained high praises, has been reputed to be the "new style of Tang"-architecture by not only people who work on architecture but also the ordinary residents of the city. It is the forerunner which explores modern architecture of Chinese characteristic and reveals the civic culture characteristic. How did it was produced and how about its vitality?The Xi'an "new style of Tang"-architecture and the revivalistic phenomenon in Chinese modern architecture is the research object in this paper. By analyzing and comparing them on the social and political background when all the phenomenon happen and develop, the factor of economical and technology, the factor of culture communication, the factor of architect, and the characteristic of architecture design, this paper makes a thorough inquiry into the similarities and differences of them and the relationship between them. Then, try to answer the question how did the Xi'an "new style of Tang"-architecture was produced and find out what is the vitality of it. Finally, to lead people to pay attention to the "new style of Tang"-architecture as well as the exploration on architecture that has "regional culture characteristic". |
