The Reactive Powder Concrete( RPC) is a kind of new cement compounded material with super high performance and high tenacity. It shows higher strength, bigger tenacity and better tension strength comparing with concrete. Make use of the high tension strength of RPC instead of conventional, we can induce the dosage of steel, light the weight of buildings, increase the span of structures and improve the tenacity and durability greatly.Tension strength of RPC is one of its basic properties and has some direct relations with other mechanics properties such as rupture capability, shearing capability, shock capability of structure, bonding strength between concrete and reinforced steel bar. Research on the tension strength of RPC has important meaning to the formation and development of crack and the failure process of RPC structure.So this text studied the tension strength of RPC in different steel fiber volume fractions. By analysing the test results, we conclude:1. The increase of steel fiber volume fraction can improve the splitting tension strength, when the fiber volume fraction increases from 0% to 2.0%, the splitting tension strength increases from8.96 MPa to 23.30MPa, but when the fiber volume fraction increases to 2.5% ,the splitting tension strength drops on the contrary.2. When the steel fiber volume fraction increases from 0% to 2.5%, the flexural strength increases froml0.05 MPa to 28.37MPa.3. When the steel fiber volume fraction increases from 0% to 2.0%, the axial tension strength increases from5.9 MPa to 14.57MPa.4. The splitting tension strength : flexural strength :axial tension strength is 1.67:1.80:1.5. This text studies the influence regulation of the complete stress-strain curve of axial tension of RPC with steel fiber volume including 0%, 1.0%, 2.0%. With the increase of fiber volume fraction, the stress -strain curve of RPC becomes more curvilinear and can stand certain tension strength.6. Build up the mathematical model of complete stress-strain curve of axial tension of RPC. By comparison, the theoretic model is close to the experimental data.
