Vernacular Architecture Development In The View Of The Communication Theories

Whether during the agriculture civilization period or present information civilization period, vernacular architecture and villages are not only act as a kind of information carrier, but its' construction processes also belong to some special information communication activities. This paper tries to apply some basic communication theories and methods to the vernacular architecture field, and find out some mechanisms and rules of information communication by analyzing the creation process of vernacular architecture. Then, think deeply how to develop the vernacular architecture to correspond this information global era. Thus will obviously provide a new thought to the traditional vernacular architecture research and evaluative criterion.
