With the rapid development of modern traffic vehicles in China, a lot of traditional urban roads have been rebuilt cosmically and rapidly by he increasingly serious traffic and safety problems. Urban road landscapes make an achievement of construction with a new outlook . Nevertheless, actual construct system and construct procedure make the phenomena that landscape has been broken up and lack of humanity in existence widely in urban road landscapes in China . Consequently, a viewpoint of integration is put forward in this thesis at the basis of a lot of theoretic analysis and practice. The viewpoint of integration requires city planners, architects, landscape designers, artists, sociologists and ecologists to cooperate harmoniously, to grasp the holistic balance of the landscape elements and change the disorder landscape into order . So that we can create a human concourse which agglomerates people's social life . The thesis discusses the integration method of urban road landscape from the whole and the part layers, and the author hopes which can be valuable for future designers.
