In this dissertation, impedance matrix interpolation technique is applied to Method of Moments (MoM) based on electric field integral equation (EFIE) and its hybrid method with physical optics(PO) for the fast solving of the radiation problems of onboard wire antennas and the scattering problems of conducting objects with arbitrary complex shape.Firstly, impedance matrix interpolation is incorporated in MoM in combination with the preconditioning technique. The numerical results show that such method can greatly reduce the computation time of the wide-band response and improve the efficiency of the solution to the radiation problems and scattering problems by using MoM.Secondly, impedance matrix interpolation is employed in MoM with Fast Multipole Method (FMM). Some illustrating examples are presented the results and show that such method can greatly improve the speed of solving the electromagnetic problems of the electrically-large and complex shaped conducting objects. The validity and efficiency of the method is demonstrated by the numerical results.Lastly, impedance matrix interpolation technique is applied to Hybrid Moment-Method Physical-Optics (MoM-PO). The numerical results and analysis of this chapter show that such method can greatly reduce the computation time of the impedance matrix in MoM fields.The above three proposed acceleration techniques are efficient for the fast solving of the radiation problems of onboard wire antennas and the scattering problems of conducting objects with arbitrary complex shape. The theoretical achievements of the investigation as well as the developed simulation software can directly apply to the solving of broadband Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) problems and other electromagnetic engineering problems.
