Rapid Control Prototyping(RCP), is a technology which directly translates the block diagram of a control algorithm into the execution code and downloads to the target compute machines for real-time simulations with hardware, in order to let the engineer quickly test and iterate their control algorithm at early days; and finally automatically generating and downloading the execution code to the hardware productions.RCP lets engineers iterate and test control algorithm taking real-time simulation with hardware at the early days as measures, and automatically generate and download the execution code. RCP has advantages of low time, reduced costs and parallel design, amd has been widely applied for production developmemt, RCP-in-Loop simulation and RCP testing.This paper introduces RCP to solve the disadvantages in the development of missile' s control and guide system. The main contributions of this paper are summarized as follows:1) This paper studies conception, meaning, siginification and developmemt of RCP, and introduces ideas of V Pattern and Total Development Environment(TDE);2) Based on V Pattern and TDE, this paper frames RCP system scheme, which is for development from conception to production, and detailedly make function design and prototyping design. This is the main research content of this paper;3) Key technics were studied, including models translation, device drive under QNX and functions extended for RT-LAB;4) Simulation models of RCP system were built, including missle' s dynamics and kinematics system models under Skyfly, and control and guide system models under Simulink;5) Based on RCP system scheme, Key technics and Simulation models, RCP system was implemented, including simulations of Skyfly simulation system, Skyfly+Simulink simulation system and Skyfly+RT-LAB simulation system. Simulation results indicates that the RCP system we present is feasible and credible, and has advantages of agility, extensibility and celerity.
