The thesis mainly studies quantitative feedback theory (QFT) and its application to the uncertain mathematical of turbofan engine. A design method of QFT robust controller for the turbofan engine based on the Diagonal Dominance Precompensation using the theory of linear matrix inequalities (LMI) is presented in this thesis. At first, the thesis studies the method of the small perturbing of the turbofan engine model and get the linear state variable model, and also divided flight envelope. A method which is connected the conception of LMI with the design of diagonal dominance pre-compensator in frequency domain based on diagonal dominance is presented to reduce the interactions in the multivariable control system of engine. The QFT controller design methodology is studied, and applied in the control system of the turbofan engine to design the robust controller in the full envelope. The efficiency and engineering applicability of this method are verified by a number of simulation results, and demands of the turbofan engine are reached.
