The impact course is a complicated dynamic response process with its particular dynamic characteristics, so the analysis and research of impact phenomena becomes very important in both theoretical and realistic engineering fields. To solve the questions in impact dynamics of complex structures, it is a highly efficient way to adopt the numerical simulation with the help of the combination of impact dynamics and finite element method. When the models of impact dynamic are established, the model correction method is becoming popular research field. In this article, the author conducts the research on impact dynamics of complex structures in the following fields:Firstly, the author sums up relatively the basic theory of impact dynamics and comes out with the general analysis way and the process of solving, thus founding the theoretical base for numerical simulation. Then the author combines the basic equation of impact dynamics with finite element method and establishes the analysis method of complex structures under impact load.Secondly, putting a complex structure—the life-saving ejection seat of military airplane as the example, the finite element calculations have been made to simulate the dynamic response of the ejection seat, the author analyses the response of the displacement and stress under a load of acceleration, the response principles and potential failure type of the ejection seat, and finds out the weakness in structure designing and further, This simulation method provides significant reference for the impact dynamics research on similar complex structures.In this paper, the impact dynamic theory is concerned, based on the experimental date, the impact dynamic of Virtual-Practical combining simulation of the ejection seat is discussed .First, for the vibration problem, correction on model-damping of parts and elastic modulus to get closer to the experiment results. It also uses the experimental contrast to correction the structural parameter, an accurate finite element model is set up.
