| Remote sensing satellites play an important role for civil or military use. Coverage is one of the important performances to remote sensing satellites. Building effectual current simulating method and presenting accurate evaluate index for Coverage performance are very important to engineering and military affairs. Study the coverage of different kinds of remote sensing satellites in this paper. Firstly, the coverage models of every kind of sensors are built, and then these models have being applied in simulation. Secondly, each restriction of imaging is discussed. At last important performance indexes of evaluating the coverage are brought forward in this paper. Calculating these indexes use grid-point analyzing method. The major work implemented is presented as follows:1. Implement Ground Coverage Geometric Characteristic Simulation of Remote Sensing SatellitesResearch the ground coverage geometric characteristic of remote sensing satellites, and build the mathematical model, then present the simulating method.(1) Discuss the mathematical model of ground track, considering rotation of the earth and perturbing factors.(2) Build the satellite ground coverage region model when satellite is on any position in the orbit using the relations between space geometry vectors.(3) Based on the ground track, build the earth surface band model of remote sensing satellites.2. Research the restriction of imagingResearch the influence of imaging wave band and solar altitude on imaging. Microwave remote sensing satellites are beyond the influence of solar altitude, they can work all day. Optical remote sensing satellites need appropriate solar altitude when imaging.3. Build Grid-point analyzing method fitting for analyzing the coverage performance of remote sensing satellitesAiming at the shortage of current algorithm to decide grid-point coverage, the algorithm fit for the remote sensing satellite is set up, which can avoid the miscarriage of justice. |
