| The research of this paper is related to the main navigation channel bridge of East Sea Bridge which is a long off-shore bridge and opened in 2005. In this paper, anti-wind capability, especially the buffeting response of the bridge is studied. The main works are the following:1. The brief introduction of the main navigation channel bridge of East Sea Bridge, the research issues of bridge anti-wind, the basic analysis theories of static forces and buffeting of bridge are all presented briefly.2. The characteristics of wind environment in the bridge site are studied primarily. The fundamental wind speed in bridge site is identified according to different ways, such as: statistic, codes, etc. The characteristic parameters of wind in the site are also given.3. The structural dynamic characteristics of the bridge are analyzed. The FE model of the structure, section and dynamic characteristics are presented briefly.4. The static wind response of the bridge is analyzed. The static wind loads and the equality loads of gust wind are derived.5. The buffeting response of the bridge is analyzed. The analysis methods of response of deformation and inner forces are briefly discussed. And the parameters for analyzing are given.6. The analysis results of response of static wind and buffeting in different construction stages are gathered and compared. Some useful conclusions in this research are given.Through this study, the wind resistant characteristics of cable-stayed bridge with single cable plane and combined girder are recognized more clearly, and the computing theories and methods of bridge response of static wind and buffeting are understood. This research should have instruction meaning for the future similar bridges' design. |
