The railway transportation and urban railway traffic have been developed rapidly in recent decades. It brings convenience for people's life, but it brings noise pollution at the same time. Noise pollution becomes a focus that people to complain about and it influences people's life badly. So noise pollution baffles the economy development and the improvement of people's life and it is necessary to control the pollution. Noise identification is the first step of controlling the noise pollution effectively, so it is becomes the popular problem to research into now.This article compares the traditional methods of identifying noise sources and array signal processing arithmetic firstly and finds the proper arithmetic for this paper-Beamforming. Then the paper identifies noise sources with the scanning map based on Beamforming. The result of this traditional method is not satisfying, such as distortion and low resolving power. This article brings forward a correcting idea aiming at above situation and verifies the feasibility of this idea in theory, then brings forward the equation applied in projects. The latter article puts the emphasis on solving that project equation and tries the methods of solving inverse problems-Tikhonov Regularization Method and Collocation Method. The article checkouts the solution result with the data that acquired by the array experiment at last.This article brings forward a new research direction for identifying noise sources.
