A Research On Online Ultrasonic Test Method Of Engine Wheels

Ultrasonic test technique is comparably mature in the aspect of engine wheels nondestructive test. But when refers to online test of engine wheels ,it is limited in the use of Raylaigh surface waves .First of all ,paper analyze the disadvantage of surface waves test, and then present a bran-new online ultrasonic test method of engine wheels.First, analyze ultrasonic test method of engine wheels which uses different angles probes group array. This method takes the smooth inside pane of engine wheel as the incident pane. Design a probe group which has five probes with different angles. The sound field of this probe group can cover a certain depth and width area beneath the surface of wheel. Basically, it can accomplish the cover of the main object test area. This method overcome the disadvantage of surface waves test that the sound field depth is too low. The probe group array which has 90 probe groups can accomplish the sound field cover of the whole wheel.Second, analyze the test system of probe group array. Describe the flow chart of this method, then analyze the hardware and software section of the system. In the hardware section, discuss and prove in theory how the AD card use time-share method to gather data from 80 test channels and insure no miss of data. In the software section, display the A-scan and B-scan window, then discuss the accomplishment of digital filter software. In the system application section, analyze the effect of the test system by observe test result of manual defect and two different nature defects.
