The faster the modern society develops, the more mental pressure people will undertake. Accordingly, the number of mental patients caused by psychological factors has been increasing gradually. Mental diseases turn out to be social problems in some countries, and have more and more bad effect on the society.Nowadays, the therapies for mental patients are mainly medical therapy, psychological therapy and physical therapy. The medical therapy is employed mostly. However, as we know, a certain medicine has effect only on a certain part of patients and has harm. Even though psychological therapy has no side-effects, the treatment takes long time with unpredictable results. The physical therapies are acupuncture, electronic acupuncture and magnet therapy mainly. In this paper, an advanced method of transcranial magnetic stimulation is proposed by analyzing the existent therapies for the mental disease. According to this method, the innovative central nerve magnetic stimulation system is designed by applying computer technology, electronic technology and control theory. The main work and results can be summarized as follows:A new therapy of transcranial magnetic simulation, that is a method of applying transcranial magnetic simulation to all fields of brain, is proposed based on analyzing and employing the therapies both the domestic and oversea for mental patients. According to the biological window-effect principle, parametron central nerve magnetic stimulation system is designed. The frequency and waveform of the magnet field produced by the device can vary as required. The control scheme has been determined, and IGBT is used as the main control components. The frameworks of the system software and hardware are designed by using existent computer and electronic technology, where the hardware is separated into independent functional modules that are based on the structure and module design technique. In addition, the circuit of communication interface is designed and the program of senior computer is developed to guarantee correct information transmission between therapeutic equipment and PC.
