Firsty,we extend the meaning of water resource system to the category of zoology economy environment. The brittleness theory is introduced to explain the conception and meaning of brittleness waken degree, brittleness entropy and brittleness relating degree using the thought of systems engineering. The theory is connected with city system to analyze the factors that affects the drinking water safety in the whole ecosystem of city from the aspect of water resource guarantee to social system, economy system and entironmental system. Then, the present degree, in which those factors affect urban ecosystem, is analyzed in quantity uniting the fuzzy analytic hierarchy process (FAHP), and the future one is forecasted similarly. Besides, the brittleness entropies of three subsystems as social system, economy system and entironmental system and the effet of their relation to city sustainable development are studied in order to take different control on different subsystems of different brittleness waken degrees and analyze correctly and take proper steps according to external laws.Secondly, as a special ecosystem, the urban entironment water demand is defined in a different way and the traditional entironment water demand category is extended. The composing of urban natural entironment water demand is summarized and caculated rational.Thirdly, we analyze the supply and demand balance of urban water system, which consider the water quality of different water consumption and supply, to make certain the kinds of water user and water supply. Under the instruction of brittleness analysis of urban ecosystem water safety, a multi-object programming model, which take social harmony, economical benefits and entironment improvement as objects and the ability of water supply and water demand as the restrictions, is set up and solved through MATLAB in two scenes of laking water badly and not badly from two aspects of present benefits and future benefits. In this way we can compare the differet results from different analyzing aspects. Finally, we take the example of Tianjin to validate the rationality of the model mentioned above. The result indicates that in aspect of water supply, developing seawater and wastewater reusing is more propitious to city sustainable development than water transfer, and in aspect of water demand, the future benefit requires...
