In recent years, as requirement for energy conservation and the office work environment become higher and higher, energy saving and indoor air quality have become two major problems which the air conditioning engineering design faced. Solve the two problems in a certain extent, the reasonable air distribution is an important aspect.Along with the economical development and society's progress, various meetings are more and more , people require more comfortable environment of conference. How the effect of air conditioning has already become the important condition on the conference site choice. The medium conference room used more frequently at present, but the research achievements to the air distribution in the medium conference room is not very much.Therefore it is necessary to enrich this aspect research, and offer theoretical foundation and method for rational design of the air distribution in medium conference room .This article in view of a medium conference room, carry on numerical simulation of air distribution in the room under the different air distribution method by the PHOENICS software. Compares and analyses indoor velocity field, indoor temperature field, indoor speed nonuniform coefficient, indoor temperature nonuniform coefficient, indoor air age, indoor thermal comfort under different air distribution modes which are sidewall air supply and sidewall air return, sidewall air supply and roof air return, roof air supply and sidewall air return at same air supply volume and same air supply temperature. Obtaining the following conclusion:To the rectangle medium conference room which pointed out in this paper, adopting sidewall air supply and sidewall air return, setting the position of inflow and backflow on the same sidewall, can get well-distributed temperature field and well-distributed velocity field, and has fresh air in working place, the result indicate that the best way is setting inflow up and backflow down on the same side. Adopting sidewall air supply and roof air return, setting inflow on both sides, has large space temperature variation, setting inflow on one side, can get well-distributed temperature field relatively; also should pay attention to temperature of air supply and air velocity, can't make people have sense of blowing over a cold wind. Adopting roof air supply and sidewall air return, setting backflow on both sides or one side, has fewer influence in indoor temperature distribution, velocity distribution and comfort level; compared with other ways, the roof air supply method get lower indoor temperature.
