The growing urbanization and developing technology present higher requirement on the design of the deep foundation pit engineering: safety, economy and surrounding environment protection. To meet the demand, theory and method for optimizing design throughout the whole process of deep foundation pit engineering design and construction need to be made research on.With the view of systematic engineering and on the basis of former research, this thesis makes deep research into the basic principle of deep foundation pit engineering design with the theory of optimizing design. It mainly conducts research to find an optimizing selection method of foundation pit supporting scheme and to integrate a complete supporting structure design system by combining optimizing selection and the software for foundation pit supporting design.This thesis is successfully completed having the following task resolved: summarizing the types of supporting structure in common use recently and its feasible applied conditions; giving the introduction of multi-target optimizing method for the supporting scheme of deep foundation pit engineering and suggesting firstly selected patterns which is relatively systematical; finding the result of Multiplicity of weight of each affect factor by Analytical Hierarchy Process(AHP)and optimizing the first-selected supporting scheme by fuzzy comprehensive evaluation;Combining practical project to optimize supporting scheme by Analytical Hierarchy Process, multi-target decision theory, etc; Making up the disadvantages of software on the selection, that is to say, integrating the traditional supporting scheme with calculating software and doing the design on computer in semi-automatic or total automatic way; conducting optimizing research by computer aided design- Beijing Lizheng Design Software for Deep Foundation Pit Supporting System and by doing so, better technical and effective results will be achieved.This thesis has important significance on resolving problems of recent deep foundation pit engineering design, construction and improving the benefit on economy and society in both theoretical and practical way.
