This paper will research further on the optimization of design parameters of row pile supporting structure, on the basis of former study. In this paper, design parameters involve all kinds of design variable and interim variable in the scheme.This paper analyzes firstly the effects on the supporting structure by soil parameters and on soil parameters by general reinforcement measures in shanghai, and summarize the optimization suggestions of soil parameters. Secondly, the paper analyzes the effects on the supporting structure by the amount of layer and pre-stress of bracing structure, and the ratio H to D (in which, H is the depth of foundation pit excavation, D is the supporting structure's depth in the soil) . Thirdly, the paper analyzes the sensitivity of design parameters by orthogonal experimental methodology. Finally, the paper offers the suggestion for the development of optimization methodology in future, after studying on the theory of modern methodology for the optimization of design parameters.This paper use FRAWS and FLAC3D as analytical software, and the project examples are those foundation pit engineering of row pile retaining, in which the depth of foundation pit excavation is 7~11meters, and the feature of soil reflects the general situation in shanghai.
